  Dear visitors,

  welcome to the Institute for research of Constantine and Methodius’ cultural heritage Faculty of Arts in Nitra sites. The result of logical efforts of both academic and scientific circles is the foundation of such a workplace in the historical city of Nitra on the university ground, which also refers in its title to the spiritual message of Constantine the Philosopher. After the lead time activities the establishment of the institute culminated in November 2007 by the approval of its statute, which was declared by the Academic Board of the Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. It is the fundamental resolution of the department officials (a unique one in our country) to see different aspects of the far-reaching Byzantine cultural heritage and to disseminate the results of investigations among professionals as well as public.

  While browsing the Institute´s sites we would like all information to serve fully and properly our common benefit.
