He works at the Institute for Research of Constantine and Methodius’ Сultural Heritage (Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra). He graduated in archeology – history – museology at the Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra in 2002. In 2006 he defended a dissertation thesis in the field of Slovak history (Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra). Research activities: the history of Great Moravia and Hungary in the Middle Ages. At the same time he gives lectures on Slovak history at the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.

prof. Martin Hetényi, PhD.

Since the formation of the Institute for Research of Constantine and Methodius’ Сultural Heritage (Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra) he has worked here as a scientific researcher. He deals particularly with the political history of Cyril´s and Methodius´s mission and the development of Cyril´s and Methodius´s tradition in the 19th and 20th century. The area of his expertise also includes minority issues in Slovakia in the 20th century and Slovak – Hungarian relations. At the same time he also gives lectures on Slovak and world history at the Department of Political Science and European Studies and at the Department of History (both of them at Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra).

 

assoc. prof. Martin Husár, M. A., PhD. – Erasmus + coordinator

He works  at the Institute for Research of Constantine and Methodius’ Сultural Heritage (Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra). He graduated in archaeology, history and education in 2005 and finished his PhD. study in the field of archaeology in 2008 from Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. He worked in a field of protection of national cultural monuments, as a field archaeologist and also as a teacher of English language at secondary school. He is focused on the end of Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages in the field of archaeology, warfare, and European ruler courts. Also he gives a lecture and seminar on introduction to archaeology and medieval warfare at the Department of History (Faculty of Arts, University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra).
